      倣古流金の茶壺

      流金は本来、上が流、下が金という一つの漢字です。古代の火を使った鍍金（めっき）方法ですが、こちらの倣古流金というのは金鍍金をしたような金属的な質感が見られるため名づけられたもので、本当に鍍金をしたものではありません。古びた雰囲気を生み出していますが、私の知る限り比較的最近、福建省で作られ次第に広がってきたタイプの陶器で、 酸化鉄を多く含む釉薬が、1300度の高温の中で自然に流れ動いて線や点の模様をとなり、深い茶色や灰色、あるいは暗い金色などの不規則な色合いと質感を生み出しています。

      さて、こちらはシンプルな形の薄手の茶荷。流金のシリーズの中でも表面のザラザラが少ない部類で光沢があり、底面の釉薬のかかっていない部分は濃いグレー、外側は金色や光沢が少ない感じです。底面が平らでなく丸みを帯びているため、置くと揺れます。
