      色彩が美しい世界遺産・龍泉青磁

      龍泉の青磁は今から1500年ほど前の南北朝時代に始まると言われ、中国陶磁器史上もっとも長く焼かれ規模としても最大級の生産地でした。伝説になりますが、宋の時代には章という姓の名高い陶匠の兄弟がおり、優れた作品を生み出しました。哥（兄）窯は宋代の五大窯に数えられる名窯で、釉薬に網の目状に入った亀裂が特徴。弟窯は玉のように透き通る純粋な色で知られています。青磁の里として発展を遂げますが、明代には青花磁器の隆盛と、倭寇などの影響から海外貿易が厳しく制限されたため生産量が減少、質も以前の輝きを失いました。

      時が流れて1957年、周恩来総理の指示により、8名の専門家からなる復古グループにより新たな火がともり、現在では新たな発展の時代を迎えています。2009年には「龍泉青磁の伝統工芸技術」が無形文化遺産として世界遺産に登録されました。

      薄いブルーが美しい弟窯粉青

      龍泉の青磁には様々な色がありますが、こちらは代表的な粉青という薄いブルーが美しい弟窯にならったものです。もともとの胎は白色で釉薬の薄いところは白に濃いところは水色になり微妙なグラデーションが生み出されています。薄さを良しとする磁器とは違い、厚くしっかりした重みがあります。

      個性的な形の快客杯

      日本では珍しい快客杯は杯を蓋代わりに使います。湯を注いで杯を逆さまにして蓋代わりにして茶を淹れたら、次は杯として茶を注ぎます。かっちり蓋として閉まるわけではなく上に置くだけですが、保管時にも一体として可愛らしい形です。

      ※注ぎ口が左に曲がっています。自分専用の杯という意味合いと水の流れに変化をつけるという意味だそうですが、右利きだと自然な傾きといえるのですが、左利きだとちょっと使いづらいかもしれません。
