      象牙のような色の白磁に鳥と桃の花の図案

      白磁の都、福建省の徳化県で作られている、象牙のように薄い色のある白磁に、鳥と桃の花の華やかな図案の聞香杯です。桃の花は、桃色という単語にもなっているように色の美しい花で、美しく満ち足りた生活を表す意味もあります。水点桃花というのは中華民国時代に劉雨岑が生み出した絵画の技法の名で、こちらの杯はその技法を使っているわけではなく、鳥と桃の花を描いたそのような雰囲気の図案という意味合いです。
      また、聞香杯はお茶の香りを楽しむ茶器です。縦長の聞香杯に茶を注いでから、背の低い品茗杯にお茶を移し、空になった聞香杯の香りをお楽しみ下さい。
