      象牙のような色の白磁に明るい梅の花の図案

      白磁の都、福建省の徳化県で作られている、象牙のように薄い色のある白磁に、明るい梅の花の図案の聞香杯です。梅は蘭、竹、菊と合わせて四君子と呼ばれることもあり、また松、竹と合わせて歳寒三友とも呼ばれます。まだ寒い時期に他の花に先駆けて咲き、高潔・力強さの象徴とされています。
      また、聞香杯はお茶の香りを楽しむ茶器です。縦長の聞香杯に茶を注いでから、背の低い品茗杯にお茶を移し、空になった聞香杯の香りをお楽しみ下さい。
