      茶荷は茶葉を入れておく皿です。茶壺（急須）に茶葉を入れる際に袋や缶からだと見た目に美しくありません。茶荷に茶葉をおいてセッティング、茶芸の場合には、茶壺に茶葉を入れる前に、茶荷に入れた茶葉をお客様に見てもらいます。中国茶においては茶葉の見た目も良し悪しを分ける大きなポイントとされていますので、まずは見てお楽しみいただきます。

      こちらは中国三大古磁都のひとつ、徳化県の白磁の茶荷です。細長く、波打つような大きな曲線が特徴的な形状。穴が開いているので細い紐をつけてアクセントとしても良いでしょう。
