      徳化県白磁シリーズの茶壺

      日本での知名度はそれほど高くはありませんが、徳化県は中国三大古磁都のひとつに数えられ、その歴史は新石器時代にまで遡り、以降、宋、元、明と技術上の変遷を経て現代へと到ります。明の時代に入って生み出された白磁は象牙や玉に例えられるオフホワイト、乳白色といった色合いで「中国白」「玉磁」などと呼ばれ中国を代表する白磁と言われています。

      中国四大美人の一人、西施の名をとった丸みを帯びた形の茶壺。紫砂では定番の茶壺です。気持ち厚手で重さを感じます。
