      白磁の街、徳化製の白磁

      日本での知名度はそれほど高くはありませんが、徳化県は中国三大古磁都のひとつに数えられ、その歴史は新石器時代にまで遡り、以降、宋、元、明と技術上の変遷を経て現代へと到ります。明の時代に入って生み出された白磁は象牙や玉に例えられる乳白色で「中国白」「玉磁」などと呼ばれ中国を代表する白磁と言われています。

      ちょっとした演出に使える茶荷

      蓋碗や茶壺に直接茶葉を入れてお湯を注げば中国茶はとても気軽に飲めるものです。でも、お客さまの前で袋からカサカサと茶葉を入れるのは少しがさつな感じがします。そんな時にちょっとした演出ができるのが茶荷。茶荷に茶葉を入れてお客様に茶葉をお見せしてから蓋碗や茶壺に移せば格段に上品な雰囲気を演出できます。こちらは曲線がシンプルですっきりした印象の茶荷です。
